Our paintings are made of Natural Lacquer Varnish, the latex from Lacquer Trees, in botanical term known as Melonorrhoea Usitata. The Lacquer trees are mainly found in the natural forests in the North and North East of Thailand. The property of the Lacquer Vanish that we use to create our meticulous pieces has its role to protect the painting from being ruined by water and to maintain long-lasting durability the magnificent creations. The highlight of our paintings is that each of every one is decorated and finished with pure gold leaf. This unique technique of art is originated since Ayutthaya period and influenced by the Chinese and Western mixes. Nowadays, our majestic pieces of art are considered to be one of cultural heritages of Thailand.
