International School of Monts- de- Corsier

ISM welcomes children from 18 months in our crèche, through to 12 years of age and has a student body of approximately 120 children made up of over 30 nationalities. The school has no religious affiliation and embraces every aspect of multicultural diversity.

The school values academic excellence and believes this is achieved by creating a warm and caring atmosphere where children feel safe and valued. Our personalised approach gives every child the opportunity to work at an appropriate level and to constantly realise new achievements.

At ISM we understand that all children are individuals, we are an inclusive school dedicated to meeting the learning needs of every child.

The English National Curriculum is followed and adapted to our needs, from Early Years Foundation Stage, (3 years of age) to the end of Key Stage 2 (year 6 at 11 years).

The role of an International School is not only the education of its pupils; ISM is an important community link for our families, particularly if they are new to Switzerland. Regular Coffee Mornings, an active Parent's Group, Parent's Newsletter and a number of informal social groups all add to the community atmosphere.

The school has 28,000m² of grounds in a beautiful setting. (Including 2 tennis courts, a full size football pitch, gardens and small forest. The school community includes Mikey the horse and Ignaz and Merlin the donkeys; we also have a family of goats, chickens and gold fish)
