Our restaurant was born out of necessity in the east village (Evil is "East Village” abbreviated). The three of us--Chris, Hai, and Asher--met while working at a Michelin starred restaurant, where we solidified our bond (Chris and Hai would marry in the summer of 2019). It was also around then we developed our love for Japanese food and high quality meals. After finding ourselves without jobs due to Covid, we decided to take the plunge and start our very own restaurant, so here we are!
